PREVAILING PRAYER- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor John Maasbach from The Hague, Holland preaches from Exodus 32:14 on the power of intercessory prayer. He shares how Moses pleaded to the Lord to not pour out His wrath on the Israelites, and spare them, despite their sin. Brother Maasbach says we too, like Moses, can stand in the gap and pray for family, friends, this nation and the world that God will continue to show His love and mercy to those in sin. We can do this because our prayer is according to the sacrifice of Christ. Jesus said pour out your anger on me Lord, and spare your people. God doesn’t break His Covenant. He gave His Son while we were yet sinners. We can stand and intercede in prayer knowing that God’s promises are true. Moses asked for God to be merciful on the people and show His glory, we can ask the same.
