RECONCILIATION AND ATONEMENT- Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart reads Romans 5:11-12 teaching on sin and the only power that can defeat it. The death of Jesus Christ on Calvary's Cross atones for all sin. At salvation, the repentant sinner is justified, and cleansed; all man has to do is repent, and receive Him as Lord and Savior. Brother Swaggart reminds us, Christ either cleanses us of all sin, or no sin at all. We must know what was atoned. Brother Swaggart explains the ceremony of the Great Day of Atonement, and how it typifies and symbolizes today our faith in the Cross of Christ. All sin must be judged, and for every child of God, our sin was judged at Calvary.
