When sinful man repents, and places his or her faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross, we become a new creation; we are no longer what we once were. Brother Donnie shares the salvation story of David Berkowitz, known as the “Son of Sam” New York killer who shot and killed multiple people with a .44 caliber in the mid to late seventies. In the 80’s, in prison Berkowitz gave his life to Christ, and he now, in the eyes of God, is not longer what he used to be. God’s grace and mercy is so much bigger than any sinful deeds man. When we ask for forgiveness, His blood cleanses us, and no matter the sin; whosoever, calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. When we are born again, the door of heaven is unlocked for us. At salvation, we die with Christ, are buried, and a new man is resurrected; He makes a change in the life we are living, all things pass away, and behold everything is new.
