THIS ONE THING, I NOW KNOW; I WAS BLIND, AND NOW I SEE- Today Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches on the power of the Holy Spirit that breaks the yoke of sin. Pastor Gabe shares how the man born blind, in John 9:1, didn’t become blind, but was born blind; symbolic of unredeemed man being born in sin due to the fall of Adam. Pastor Gabe tells the story how that blind man’s day would not end, the way it started. He likens the unsaved heart, to the situation of darkness the blind man had lived since birth. The power of God must come into the heart of man to change him and wash him from all sin. Only faith in Jesus Christ can take our gloom and turn it into glory. In John 9:2, the disciples ask whether the man sinned, or did his parents? This questioning would imply he is blind from a generational curse. Pastor Gabe says you can be sure, all curses are broken when a person gets saved. When Christ spat in the dirt to make a clay for the man’s eyes, this was a type of the humanity of man(dirt) and the Holy Spirit coming together. Then in vs. seven, Christ told the blind man to go wash in the pool of Siloam, which was a type of the blood of Jesus Christ. The man, then received his sight; he was saved, and then, he worshiped! He wanted the world to know, I was blind, and now I see.
