Brother John warns of the danger of unforgiveness to those who have hurt us; it can allow a root of bitterness to come into our hearts and lives and it will greatly compromise our walks with the Lord. We need to embrace, understand, and carefully guard all the benefits God has provided us when we accepted Him as Lord and Savior of our lives. The more we understand the price Christ paid on Calvary’s Cross and how merciful God has been with us, the more we will show others mercy who have offended us.
