It’s God’s will that the believer lives in victory. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:1-2 discussing being dead to sin. Grace covers a multitude of sin; despite knowing this, it does not give the believer a license to sin. There is only one avenue of victory over sin, and that is the Cross. Only faith, in Christ’s death on Calvary can save and give power for living this Christian life successfully, keeping the sin nature at bay. We must not look to self-efforts; only by faith, will the Holy Spirit go to work on our behalf to change us into the image of Christ.
