Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient Dave Roever, and Dr. Dan Dang of the Roever Ministries. Brother Roever shares the story of the horrific blast he suffered when an enemy sniper struck a grenade in his hand, right near his face leaving him burning and bleeding from the inside out. Brother Dang shares the latest progress on the Expositor Study Bibles going into Vietnam and to the Hmong people, which will be just the beginning of seeing these bibles getting into China through the Hmong village people. The first ten thousand bibles will begin printing in September, with some 58,220 total. Brother Dang says this number of bibles is to honor the number of US men and women who came to Vietnam and died for the freedom of his people.
