To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord; at death, the believer’s soul and spirit go to be with the Lord. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss eschatology. Brother Swaggart says it is unfortunate that so many Christians do not know what Bible prophecy tells us about end times. The First Resurrection of Saints, i.e., the rapture, is very near with the Second coming of Christ to follow. Brother Watts says if we are not educated on bible prophecy we will be drawn by any wind of doctrine that leads to false truths. Believers must know the rapture is coming soon, and we will pass from corruption to incorruption; the church must be ready. Brother Swaggart encourages us of the blessed hope we have in Jesus Christ; when the believer makes heaven there will be no more heartache, pain, or tears. We will be in the presence, peace, and joy of the Lord forevermore.
