Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Today on the Message of the Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how all the millions of lambs offered up in the Old Covenant were types of Christ and Him to come. He came to atone for all sin, and that could only be done at the Cross. The revelation of Christ to Israel was seen over and over again, but as Brother Larson explains, Israel was not looking for the Messiah to be a Lamb. Israel expected an individual to be like King David, a conquerer that would overthrow Rome. Israel's rejection of Christ has subjected this world to death and destruction. But when Christ returns, in His 2nd coming, during the Great Tribulation, He will be a great warrior and destroy the Antichrist and his army, and Israel will then realize who He was, and who He is.
