GOD NEVER GIVES UP ON BROKEN AND BRUISED PEOPLE- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Don Paul Gray reads from the book of Jeremiah, 2nd Corinthians, and John. He teaches on Jeremiah’s prophetic warnings to Israel to repent from their wicked ways for the judgment of God was at hand. He applies the lesson of the potter to the believer today and how we are but an earthen vessel to be molded and shaped. We are but a marred clump of clay, but He alone can make us beautiful. This lesson of the potter’s house is that God never mends or rehabilitates what man mars, but He creates something new. True repentance in the heart of man brings change on the part of God. Without repentance, judgment will continue. We are but a broken vessel, but with obedience and submission on the potter’s wheel, we can be a vessel unto honor.
