I CRIED UNTO THE LORD WITH MY VOICE-Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Tommy Bates from Community Family Church in Independence Kentucky, preaches on oppression, and shares his own experience with powers of darkness trying to end his life. Brother Bates says Satan spoke to him clearly at the young age of 12; the evil plan was to snuff out his light, and the call God had placed on his life at the young age of 5. He cried out to the Lord, and prayed in his prayer language, believing that his omniscient, omnipresent, all-powerful God would hear his cry. God answered and set him free from the evil oppression that had brought such tremendous fear to his young heart and life. Brother Bates says to this day, he is amazed of our wonderful, merciful Savior; as God clothed Himself in humanity, justified by the Holy Spirit, stepped out of heaven, surrounded by angels to redeem fallen mankind. The service ended with a powerful altar call for those needing bondages broken and salvation. Pastor Bates says the need of the hour has a mandate from the Word of God, preach the Cross.
