THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT- In Christ, our heart’s desires have been recreated to love and seek the things of God. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:1-2 discussing how the person and power of the Holy Spirit comes into the life of the believer at salvation. We are saved, and regenerated, “regened” if you will. This is where we are given everything we need to live a victorious Christian life. Faith anchored in the finished work of Christ allows the Holy Spirit to work in our lives to bring us victory over every sin and every struggle. Brother Larson says we have been delivered from much, and there is a maintenance to believing what we have been given. The believer must learn how to walk in the finished work of Christ. When we truly understand what was won at the Cross, the Holy Spirit will lead us to a state of being born again, again. He is a Spirit of life; for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, has made us free from the law of sin and death.
