God’s angels function on the behalf of His children. They are continually sent forth to do service for God. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Hebrews 1:14. All angels, i.e., ministering spirits, have a role to play in the plan of God; they help the heirs of salvation, which are all those who have accepted Christ. They are employed to execute the will of God. Angels do not do the bidding of man; angels only respond to the bidding of God. There is joy in heaven among the angels of God over even one sinner who repents. Brother Swaggart prays that this ministry will keep angels busy because people are getting saved, and lives are being changed by the power of God. Just as the angels, our source of joy should be the same; salvation brings a shout.
