To reject the Cross is to reject the gospel. Today on the Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the teaching of the Cross with regards to salvation and sanctification in the believer’s for life and living. The panel discusses how many Christians will develop religious idols in their lives to gain victory over sin. This is incorrect teaching; the only way to gain victory over sin is to put our faith solely in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross. If we get removed from our source of life, the Cross, we will attach to a lie. Brother Joseph says the Holy Spirit is calling us back to the Cross of Christ; it saves us, and it keeps us. This lifeline is going out to the church as much as the unchurched.
